This compilation article aims to examine the concept of intergenerational communication from a multidimensional perspective, examining the causes, consequences and solutions of communication differences that occur between generations, while also revealing the similarities and conflicts between communication styles of different generations. Developments in today's technology, changes in social values and transformations in people's lifestyles have caused significant conflicts in communication between generations. These conflicts make their effects felt in a wide variety of areas, from language use to communication preferences and even the value judgments of individuals. The article examines environmental factors affecting intergenerational communication, communication theories and research findings in current literature from a scientific perspective. In addition, some suggestions that can be taken to prevent conflicts experienced by individuals from different generations in professional life, family relations and educational environments are presented. The focus of this compilation is to create a communication structure based on understanding and empathy between generations, and to emphasize attitudes that adopt cooperation instead of conflict. In light of this approach, this compilation article aims to contribute to the literature while also offering findings that will shed light on the work of professionals in the field.
