ANÁLISE PRELIMINAR DE RISCOS (APR) APLICADA À CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM POÇO TUBULAR PROFUNDO (PTP) PARA CAPTAÇÃO DE ÁGUA SUBTERRÂNEA
The drilling of deep tube wells (DTP) is an important alternative for water supply in Brazil and is responsible for collecting groundwater. However, this activity involves a number of risks for workers. Against this backdrop, the aim of this study is to analyse the occupational risks to which workers are exposed during the construction of a fully-covered PTP by applying the preliminary risk analysis (PRA) methodology. It is an exploratory and descriptive case study, with a qualitative approach and an applied nature. A bibliographical review was carried out on the subject, using books, scientific articles, manuals and standards. Documentary research was used to collect data, based on observation of the task risk analysis form provided by the company carrying out the work. Twenty-two (22) different risks were identified in the activity analysed. It can be seen that 51% (fifty-one per cent) of the risks found fall into the high and very high categories, for which the need for immediate implementation of the proposed preventive and corrective measures stands out. For future studies, it is suggested that other risk analysis techniques be applied to the activity researched. It is also recommended that other methodologies for carrying out PTPs be identified and explored in terms of the risks associated with them.
