On the prospects for developing city master plans

On new directions in the Strategy of spatial development of the Russian Federation, new concepts and additions to territorial planning. The content of the concept of "master plan" planned for inclusion in the Urban Development Code and its implementation in the regulatory framework is disclosed. The article is an introduction to a series of reflections on the prospects for the implementation of master plans for Russian cities, including specifically for the regional level.
