Correlation Test on Fresh Fruit Bunch Grading Data with CPO FFA Percentage Value with Pearson Paiwise Correlation Analysis Method

This study examined the correlation between FFA percentage in CPO and fruit grading quality using the Pairwise Pearson method in the Minitab application. The normality test indicated that the data distribution was normal, with a p-value greater than 0.05. The results of the analysis showed a strong positive correlation between the percentage of rotten fruit bunches and the FFA percentage value, which confirmed that an increase in the number of rotten fruit bunches led to an increase in the FFA percentage value. Conversely, a strong negative correlation was observed between the percentage of overripe fruit and the number of fresh fruit bunches to the FFA value of CPO, concluding that an increase in these variables contributed to a smaller FFA percentage value. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing the application of Fruit Grading to control FFA values in CPO production.
