The effect of case study-based microlearning on students' chemical problem solving skills D3 Occupational Health and Safety Company Hygiene

This study investigates the effect of case study-based microlearning on students' problem-solving skills in basic chemistry courses for the D3 K3 Hygiene Study Program. Using a quasi-experimental design with purposive sampling, 56 students were divided into experimental and control groups. A problem-solving test with five valid essay questions was used as the instrument. Data analysis with a t-test (α = 0.05) showed a significant difference between the experimental (78.21) and control (72.50) groups, with a p-value of 0.011. The findings indicate that case study-based microlearning significantly enhances students’ problem-solving skills compared to conventional methods, offering focused, relevant learning aligned with vocational needs.
