PanAdapt Protocol: Improving Energy Efficiency and Collision Management in Wireless Networks
Improved energy efficiency and collision-free wireless communication extend device battery longevity, reduce operational expenses, and enhance network performance. In resource-limited settings, effective energy utilization minimizes power consumption, while collision-free communication guarantees dependable data transmission, decreases latency, and enhances bandwidth efficiency for scalable and high-performance wireless systems. This paper proposes PanAdapt, an innovative Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol designed to improve energy efficiency and guarantee collisionfree communication in wireless networks.PanAdapt is designed to minimize overhead, facilitate power-saving modes for inactive nodes, and execute a traffic-aware election mechanism for energy optimization according to network traffic dynamics. The protocol utilizes a finite load analysis model for calibration objectives. This novel methodology addresses critical issues in wireless networks by optimizing energy usage, enhancing bandwidth efficiency, and improving overall network performance via intelligent traffic management and effective resource allocation strategies.
