IoT Enabled Smart Egg-incubator with Remote Monitoring and Control System

Hatching eggs in mass amounts is a challenge for hen breeders, especially when the incubation process is based solely on hens. The average hatch rate falls within the range of 55% to 75% for egg incubation. To improve the success rate of hatching, this paper presents an advanced solution for incubation of hen eggs that applies IoT technology. The proposed system ensures suitable temperature, right humidity levels, and egg turning, incorporating remote access to detect and prevent accidents.Furthermore, the system enables users to monitor and control the incubator through a user-friendly mobile application. The application offers intuitive interfaces for remote monitoring and sends real-time notifications and updates to users regarding the incubator's status. This functionality distinguishes the application from many existing systems that lack such features, providing a significant improvement in user experience and operational efficiency. To assess the effectiveness of the developed incubation system, its performance and commercial viability were rigorously tested under diverse conditions.Factors such as cost-effectiveness, scalability, and suitability for both commercial and domestic use were considered, and the results demonstrated that the system is both reliable and user friendly.
