Association between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D and prostate cancer in middle-aged and elderly Americans: a national population-based analysis of NHANES 2001–2018
In adults over 40 in the U.S., higher serum 25(OH)D concentrations were positively correlated with PCa prevalence, with cardiovascular disease potentially modifying this relationship. Regulating serum 25(OH)D levels may contribute to mitigating PCa prevalence.
