Cardiac resynchronization therapy optimization by targeting papillary muscle dyssynchrony: A case report
Pacing at the site of polarity change of the LV lead improved papillary muscle dyssynchrony and FMR compared with conventional pacing. This pacing closely mimics the physiological mechanism of the mitral valve, enhancing both electrical and mechanical synchrony and reducing FMR.Individualized pacing strategies tailored to cardiac characteristics could potentially enhance cardiac resynchronization therapy outcomes in heart failure.
