Design of Automated Production Line MES System Based on Digitalization

Since the introduction of Industry 4.0, the demand for automation and intelligence in the manufacturing industry has increased. With this in mind, automated production lines have become the key to increasing output and reducing errors, highlighting the importance of their development and application. By building models that simulate real production equipment, the project created a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for an automated production line, with the aim of enabling customised output and improving overall production efficiency. By simulating the product inspection, processing and sorting steps of an actual production process, the system successfully demonstrates how an MES can improve product manufacturing accuracy and process control. This has far-reaching implications for improving productivity and reducing costs. This study not only offers new perspectives on the design and optimisation of automated production lines, but also provides valuable examples of the application of MES in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
