Mechanical characterization of temporary facilities for jacking construction of curved steel box girders
Abstract The stability of temporary facilities during the jacking of a steel box girder is crucial for the construction safety of the project, yet it is often overlooked. This paper utilizes finite element software Abaqus to investigate the safety control technology of temporary facilities for curved steel box girder in jacking projects. It conducts force checks on key temporary piers, ensuring they meet safety and stability requirements. The feasibility of safely jacking the construction of curved steel box girder is proven through this study, providing essential references and support for safe construction in this field.
