Luminescence properties of Ce3+ doped glass-ceramic with oxygenated apatite crystals

Abstract Ce 3+ doped glass-ceramic (GC) containing oxygenated apatite crystals was prepared based on a melt crystallization process. GC exhibits good blue light emission properties and is expected to be used in solid-state lighting.
