Leadership Styles of School Heads and How They Influence the Establishment Of Quality Coaching Environments Within Schools: Basis For A Capacitation Plan
This study examined the influence of school heads’ leadership styles on the establishment of quality coaching environments within schools, emphasizing results inclination and partnership skills as key factors in fostering sustainable, dynamic coaching cultures. Effective leadership in educational settings is critical for building coaching practices that not only support internal professional development but also draw on external resources, allowing schools to benefit from a broader network of expertise and support. Based on the findings, this research proposed a capacitation plan to strengthen the leadership competencies of school heads, specifically targeting skills in results-driven coaching, partnership-building, and instructional leadership. The proposed capacitation plan involved structured training modules and workshops focused on enhancing results-oriented practices that align coaching initiatives with clear educational outcomes. Additionally, by fostering stronger partnership skills, school heads will be equipped to create productive links with community resources, allowing for a more enriched coaching environment that extends beyond the school’s boundaries. Through this targeted development of leadership skills, the capacitation plan aimed to empower school leaders to cultivate a coaching culture that is both quality-focused and sustainable over time. This, in turn, is expected to contribute to improved educational outcomes, better school management practices, and a more effective integration of coaching within the school’s instructional framework. Ultimately, the study underscored the importance of tailored leadership development in creating impactful coaching environments that can adapt to evolving educational demands.
