Development and implementation of a high-precision three-dimensional point measurement system
Abstract The SHINE project, an 8 GeV superconducting linear accelerator for hard X-ray Free Electron Lasers (XFELs), requires a large number of insertion devices, whose magnetic field performance significantly affects the beam quality. A high-precision 3D measurement system with a range of over 6.5 meters has been developed to test the magnetic fields of these inserts. The working principle, hardware configuration, and application scenarios of this system are presented, with experimental validation demonstrating its measurement accuracy and stability.
