EPICS User Interface for Beam Diagnostic and Monitoring of the Nano-ARPES Beamline at Taiwan Photon Source
Abstract TPS 39A beamline is one of the ARPES beamlines at the Taiwan Photon Source. The KB mirror system can probe the samples on a scale from microns to nanometers. The position stability and reproducibility are important issues for this beamline, so a comprehensive beam diagnostic and monitoring system is equipped. The system includes a high heat-load screen, monochromatic beam screens, a slit system with temperature sensors, and current amplifiers. Considering the convenience of the users and the beamline management, an EPICS software interface is developed. This report shows the concept map, the software architecture, and the user interface of this software system.
