Persistent Global Health Threats: The Impact of Infectious Diseases in Resource-Limited Regions
Scope Statement: A thorough analysis of infectious diseases as major hazards to global health, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, and new illnesses like COVID-19, is included in the project's scope. The main goal will be to comprehend these illnesses' persistence and effects, especially in areas with poor infrastructure and little healthcare facilities. Analyzing epidemiological data, determining important risk factors that influence illness prevalence, and investigating viable treatments to lessen the impact of infectious diseases on impacted communities are all part of this study. The scope will also include assessing how well the infrastructure and healthcare systems already in place respond to infectious disease outbreaks and making suggestions for enhancing response and preparation.
