Preface

In the face of the challenge of environmental degradation, the development of green technologies and sustainable practices becomes imperative as countries strive to achieve carbon neutrality goals. With this vision in mind, the 3rd International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy (EESE2024) will be held in Changsha, China on December 20-22, 2024. The conference bringing together experts, scholars and engineers from universities and research institutions at home and abroad to exchange knowledge, jointly explore the latest developments in environmental and energy-related research and innovative solutions to the problems faced. The conference focused on the intersection of environmental engineering and renewable energy, emphasizing the importance of combining technological advances with ecological considerations. At the conference, two thematic forums were held in the form of keynote speeches and invited speeches. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed speakers, Prof. Guang Feng, Prof. Muhammad Junaid, Prof. Yonghua Chen and Prof. Hongyu Ren, for bringing initiating meaningful dialogue with their presentations which greatly enriched our discussions and inspired all participants. EESE 2024 is sponsored by Central South University of Forestry and Technology and supported by Xi’an Jiaotong University and Hunan Agricultural University. We are particularly grateful to all our supports, whose generous contributions have been vital in facilitating this event. List of Comittee Members is available in this PDF.
