Design and Analysis and Testing of a Hydraulic Loading System for Pull Force Testing of Grinding Mill
Abstract Winch mill Winch mills are essential for power line cableway and tower hoisting operations, with their performance critically impacting construction efficiency and safety. The current challenge is the absence of practical tools for detecting and controlling work performance parameters in grinding mills. This paper introduces a hydraulic loading system for strand mill tension testing, complete with a mathematical model and simulation analysis. It addresses issues like wire rope inertial forces due to stress imbalances and wear from friction and fatigue. A prototype tension test bench and accompanying hydraulic system experiments are developed, demonstrating a piston displacement speed error of 0.99% to 2.29% between simulations and experiments, and a flow rate within an acceptable range for the rodless chamber. This innovation supports the advancement and quality assurance of strand mills.
