Study on the correlation between workpiece surface quality and milling force of N6 nickel
Abstract With the increasing demand for N6 nickel in various industries, the study of surface processing quality has become increasingly important. Therefore, it is essential to investigate the influence of milling force on the surface quality of milled parts to ensure that they meet industrial requirements. First, a test platform is established to collect milling force signals and surface roughness data. Using this test system and CNC milling machine, milling experiments under different milling parameters were conducted via a single-factor test. Then, various statistical software tools are used to analyze the correlation between surface roughness and milling force. Lastly, the least square regression analysis of the experimental data was carried out based on MATLAB software, and the prediction model of N6 nickel surface roughness was established. This model can well predict the relationship between N6 nickel surface roughness and milling force, and provide a scientific basis for optimizing the N6 nickel milling process and improving the surface quality of the workpiece.
