Distributed-Based Storage and Indexing of Marine Environmental Data
Abstract For the rapid growth of marine environmental data with spatial and temporal characteristics, traditional relational databases have certain limitations in storing and querying massive marine environmental data, while non-relational databases have difficulty indexing massive marine environmental data efficiently, and the management of massive marine data is facing new challenges. In this paper, a distributed marine environmental data storage scheme based on HBase is designed and implemented. Firstly, an efficient RowKey is designed for the marine environmental data structure, and then Z-curve coding technology is used to construct the spatial index, and Phoenix is used to improve the query efficiency of the marine environmental data. Finally, in order to verify the effectiveness of the method, four sets of experiments are set up for verification. The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the storage and query efficiency of marine environmental data, and better cope with their management needs of marine environmental data.
