Sampling System of Salt Lake UAV Based on Coverage Path Planning
Abstract The aim is to address the problems of complex terrain and high sampling frequency of Salt Lake, such as high intensity, significant error, low efficiency, and high risk of traditional manual sampling. In this paper, a salt lake UAV sampling system is designed to cover path planning based on the advantages of UAV mobility, high security, and manpower saving. The system first covers the salt lake with a circular area. It automatically plans the sampling points based on the sampling radius information set by a Salt Lake user, then uses an intelligent algorithm for path planning, and finally obtains the lowest energy loss through different speed planning strategies to complete the whole Salt Lake sampling. The experimental simulation results show that the system realizes low-power Automatic full coverage Salt Lake sampling under different algorithms and different speed planning strategies, improves the sampling efficiency, reduces the sampling cost, and is expected to contribute to the development of the Salt Lake industry.
