Sound field transfer based on horizontal array measurement

Abstract In order to reduce the complexity of the sound field transfer method in practical applications, this paper proposed a sound field transfer method based on horizontal array measurement. The method uses the horizontal array to estimate the horizontal wavenumbers, and combines the modal depth difference equation to obtain the sound field distribution in the environment. Then stablishing a virtual holographic surface to obtain the sound field information that required by the sound field transfer method, and finally realising the full-space sound field reconstruction in the Pekeris waveguide. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the method, the average transfer error is about 1%, and the method have good adaptability to different environment.
