SERVICE-LEARNING AND SUBJECTIVE PROCESSES: THE CHALLENGE OF GETTING TO KNOW OTHERS WHO ARE DIFFERENT FROM ME
In this article, we present a discussion on the development of different subjective processes in service learning. We discuss the insertion of undergraduate students in contexts outside the university and its value for developing ethical values and social commitment to society. A constructive-interpretative research was carried out based on a student's notes about her experience at a school in a community on the outskirts of Sevilla, Spain. This research highlights the importance of different reflections on groups that are often on the margins of society and the need to understand alternative forms of subjectivation beyond those that we naturalize in our daily lives.
