Algorithmization as a Basis for Cooperation Between the Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia and Employees of Operational Units of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia at the Stage of Initiating Cases of Penitentiary Crimes

The article presents a generalized analysis of research publications on algorithmizing the investigation of different types of crime. The author proves that it is necessary to clearly regulate the cooperative activities of the investigators from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the operative units of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia at the stage of initiating criminal cases on penitentiary crimes. The prerequisite for the introduction of algorithmization is shown to be the necessity for a widespread establishment of permanent investigative-operative groups on the basis of Investigative Departments of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, which will include investigators, forensic experts and operatives of different law enforcement bodies. Using the analysis of legislation, departmental normative acts and the practice of law enforcement, the author presents an algorithm of cooperation between investigators and operative personnel when verifying information on penitentiary crimes.
