The purpose of this writing is to determine the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in regional financial management in Jayapura City, as well as the role of SIPD in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of regional financial management. This research also aims to identify the obstacles faced in implementing SIPD in Jayapura City and solutions to overcome these problems. The research was conducted at the Jayapura City BPKAD Office using data for 2021-2023. The data analysis used in this paper is qualitative descriptive data analysis. The research results show that the implementation of SIPD-RI in Jayapura City has shown a significant role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of regional financial management. Through process automation, SIPD-RI has succeeded in reducing the time required for financial management, increasing data accuracy, and strengthening transparency and accountability. Community involvement in monitoring financial reports has also increased, which supports better budget management. Suggestions to the Jayapura City Government include increasing the flexibility of the SIPD application, strengthening technological infrastructure, and improving coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs' Data and Information Center (Pusdatin). Apart from that, it is important to provide regular training and assistance to Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) so that they can utilize SIPD optimally. With these steps, it is hoped that the implementation of SIPD-RI can provide maximum benefits for regional financial management and create a government that is more responsive to community needs.
