Development of Advanced Pulse Measuring Diagnostic Device Working on Traditional Ayurvedic Principles

This work focuses on building a device that can help to identify the traditional Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis with modern technology. This device is built using three piezoelectric sensors made from 28µm thick PVDF material, this device captures pulse variations at three key points on the wrist, corresponding to the Ayurvedic principles of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These signals are processed by a NUCLEO- G474RE development board for noise filtration and data analysis. The system's innovation lies in its ability to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy pulse patterns, offering a modern interpretation of an ancient diagnostic method. This integration not only respects traditional medical practices but also enhances them with scientific precision, potentially appealing to both traditional and modern medical communities. The device will pave the way for a new realm of integrated diagnostic tools, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary technology.
