EDUKASI PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH KAYU SEBAGAI PRODUK BERNILAI EKONOMI BAGI ANAK DAN REMAJA

Wood waste is a by-product of the wood processing industry that is often left to accumulate or simply burned, which can lead to air pollution and environmental degradation. Due to the lack of public awareness regarding the utilization of this waste, it is necessary to conduct outreach programs to educate communities on how to transform wood waste into economically valuable products. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance the skills and knowledge of children and adolescents in recognizing and utilizing wood waste optimally, in order to create value-added or economically beneficial products, while also fostering environmental awareness. The methods used include education and hands-on training. As a result of this activity, children and adolescents have begun to understand the importance of converting wood waste into new, economically valuable products
