Химическая пинцировка семенников сахарной свеклы препаратом на основе малеинового гидразида в условиях Краснодарского края

The results of testing various concentrations of maleic hydrazide used for chemical tweezing of seed plants of sugar beet are presented. It was found that chemical tweezing of sugar beet with the Traffic preparation, a water-soluble concentrate (maleic hydrazide, 270 g/l), reduced the height of the main stem by 2.4–3.3 %, and also shortened the total length of three first-order branches from 5.6 to 8.7 %. The use of the preparation at a concentration of 0.05 and 0.1 % in terms of active ingredient increases the yield of large seeds and improves their germination, while a concentration of 0.2 % of the active substance had a negative impact on plant development, reducing crop yield and seed quality.
