Analysis of occupant escape from indoor building fire based on optimized cellular automaton model

Indoor decoration materials are increasingly used in buildings. Most of them are combustible or even flammable, which makes them potential fire sources and increases the fire load of buildings. Based on the cellular automaton theory and the multi-lattice theoretical calculation model, this paper simulates the temperature and heat release rate in indoor fires. The results show that the model can better simulate the accuracy of personnel evacuation in indoor fires.

Abstract

Indoor decoration materials are increasingly used in buildings. Most of them are combustible or even flammable, which makes them potential fire sources and increases the fire load of buildings. Based on the cellular automaton theory and the multi-lattice theoretical calculation model, this paper simulates the temperature and heat release rate in indoor fires. The results show that the model can better simulate the accuracy of personnel evacuation in indoor fires.
