Application of Grey BP Neural Network in Predicting the Number of Employees in the Cultural and Sports Industry of Yunnan Province

The cultural and sports industry is experiencing rapid growth, making employment trend forecasting essential for policy-making and efficient resource allocation. This study addresses the employment prediction challenge in Yunnan Province's cultural and sports sector by introducing a grey neural network model. This approach integrates the Grey Model, which is well-suited for small datasets, with the BP neural network, known for identifying complex patterns, to enhance prediction accuracy. The model is applied to employment data from Yunnan's cultural, sports, and entertainment industries and is evaluated against BP neural networks, GM(1,1), LSTM, and ARIMA models. The results indicate that the proposed grey neural network model delivers superior predictive performance.

The model is applied to employment data from Yunnan's cultural, sports, and entertainment industries and is evaluated against BP neural networks, GM(1,1), LSTM, and ARIMA models. The results indicate that the proposed grey neural network model delivers superior predictive performance.
