MAPA DE PROTEÇÃO DA PESSOA IDOSA VÍTIMA DE VIOLÊNCIA NO MUNICÍPIO DE FLORIANO-PI
If the debate on social assistance policy is current, then so is the questioning of phenomena related to the structure of human aging, public services and the guarantee of rights. For this reason, care for the elderly became more necessary, as the number of violence against this population increased. The Statute of the Elderly describes violence against the elderly as any action or omission, practiced in a public or private place, that causes death, damage or physical or psychological suffering. The main objective of the research is to survey the social protection network for elderly victims of violence in the city of Floriano-PI. In this context, it is intended to answer the following question: How does the social protection network work for elderly victims of violence in the city of Floriano-PI? The research on the structure of the social protection network for elderly victims of violence in Floriano-PI, began with a bibliographical review for a better understanding of the object of study, being fundamental for the achievement of the objectives. Given the above, it is possible to see that in the municipality of Floriano-Pi, there is a protection network against violence against the elderly, but unfortunately there is no intersectoriality, which makes it difficult to deal with cases.
