Study of Wireless Pipeline Unmanned Autonomous Inspection

This paper focuses on the design and application of wireless pipeline robots in metal enclosed environments, addressing the challenges posed by traditional wired connection methods in complex metallic pipeline settings. The research explores the development of extreme low frequency (ELF) magnetic coupling communication and multi-parameter intelligent sensing systems to overcome the limitations inherent in conventional approaches. By optimizing coil geometry and enhancing signal processing techniques, this study significantly improves signal penetration depth, signal-to-noise ratio, and energy supply stability, ensuring robust operation of robots in challenging environments such as deep-sea oil and gas pipelines and urban underground drainage systems. Experimental results demonstrate that these innovations enhance detection accuracy, data transmission reliability, and fault point tracking precision. Furthermore, the integration of advanced sensor technologies enables comprehensive monitoring of internal pipeline conditions, providing new solutions for intelligent pipeline inspection and maintenance. This work not only advances the state-of-the-art in wireless pipeline robotics but also promotes the development of infrastructure maintenance practices, underscoring the potential for broader applications in various industrial sectors.
