Guild structure of spiders in the Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat, India
Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary is a relatively unexplored area from an arachnological point of view. The present study analysed the guild structure of spiders in this sanctuary. The presence of five ecological guild categories was revealed through this study. This includes orb web weavers, other hunters, ground hunters, space web weavers and ambush hunters. The results of this study indicate a relatively low functional diversity of spiders in Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary.
