First record of Rhysida konda Joshi, Karanth & Edgecombe, 2020 (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha: Scolopendridae) from Chhattisgarh, India
In this paper, we are reporting the Scolopendromorph centipede Rhysida konda Joshi et al. for the first time from Chhattisgarh, India. The species was earlier known from the type localities in two districts (Koraput and Mayurbhanj) of Odisha, India. Morphological details of the species from the new locality and the Scolopendromorph diversity of Chhattisgarh are discussed. We also corrected the paratype locations of R. konda and discussed its distribution in the Deccan Peninsula.
