Hunting the Hunter: Insights into Natural Enemies of Praying Mantids

This is the first attempt to make an outline of the threats faced by praying mantids in the nature by categorizing their enemies into six groups namely parasites, arachnid predators, other invertebrates, vertebrates, microbial pathogens and cannibalism by including the observations from the field and the data from earlier works to show the survival tactics by the mantids and the fascinating adaptations of their enemies. It also documents an interesting commensalistic relationship associated with mantids.
