Poesía satírico burlesca de Quevedo en Caviedes: locutores poéticos y paradigmas compositivos
This article will focus on defining the satirical and burlesque poetry by Juan del Valle y Caviedes based on its relationship with Francisco de Quevedo’s similar poetic work. The author will examine how Quevedo’s poetic model changed throughout the 17th century and in which mode Caviedes recreated it in the context of late-century or post-baroque poetry. To do this, the author studies the lyric voice and the compositional paradigms in Caviedes’ book (Guerras físicas), which addressed a burlesque satire against the physicians of Lima in that period. Finally, the author suggests some sources for a poem by Caviedes inspired, as indicates in its title, by Francisco de Quevedo.
