The Influence of Financial Literacy on Credit Utilization Among Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries in Davao City: A Systematic Literature Review

The purpose of this research is to explore the impact of financial literacy on credit utilization among Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Davao City.Although ARBs have gained from the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), they continue to lack economic success, in part, due to their limited financial literacy.Using the PRISMA model, this research systematically reviews, in the past decade, studies of the direct relationship between financial literacy and credit utilization among ARBs.By categorizing patterns of financial knowledge, skills, and attitudes, the review identifies specific areas of financial literacy and their immediate results on credit consumption. The results provide substantial evidence to inform the development of financial literacy interventions for program planners with the aim of improving ARB's ability to engage in and make informed decisions on credit consumption, repayment behavior and ultimately, economic stability.
