THE USE OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND MULTIMEDIA INSTRUCTION FOR CHINESE SPEAKING SKILL OF GRADE 11 THAI STUDENTS

This study investigated the effectiveness of integrating a learning management system with multimedia instruction to enhance the Chinese speaking skills of 20 Grade 11 Thai students. Conducted for over four weeks at a private school in Chonburi Province, Thailand, the research utilized pre-tests, post-tests, and satisfaction questionnaires to assess students’ learning outcomes. The findings revealed significant improvement in the students’ Chinese speaking skills, particularly in pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and communicative skills. On average, students' scores increased by 41% in the post-test, demonstrating substantial progress. Multimedia tools, including audio recordings and videos, fostered an interactive and engaging learning environment, while the Learning Management System enabled personalized learning experiences and effective progress tracking. The students reported a high level of satisfaction with this approach, emphasizing its positive impact on their motivation and engagement. These results suggested that integrating a learning management system with multimedia instruction was a practical and effective method for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, providing valuable insights for educators and stakeholders alike.
