A System for the Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Hydroacoustic Detection in Complex Ocean Physical Fields
The present paper sets out a methodology for the scientific evaluation of the systematic utilisation effectiveness of hydroacoustic detection. This methodology is designed to enhance the detection and discovery capability of underwater noncooperative targets. The approach employed is to construct a set of hydroacoustic detection deduction effectiveness evaluation systems based on complex ocean physical fields. The construction of a time-ordered hydroacoustic detection projection system is based on a high-precision and high-reliability ocean acoustic computational model, combined with a sonar detection and discovery model. The effectiveness of hydroacoustic detection is evaluated based on the spatio-temporal cumulative effect of detection effectiveness. The system is capable of accurately deducing and predicting a variety of physical characteristics of hydroacoustic detection, and consequently guiding the joint and efficient deployment of multi-platform equipment for hydroacoustic detection missions in conjunction with the performance evaluation system.
