Use IOT Technology to Optimize ATE Test Cell Operations and Management

Historically, point solutions were widely used for ATE test cell operation such as production test, maintenance, status monitoring, data collection and analysis. This creates numerous test cell integration challenges.As a key enabler of Industry 4.0, IoT is a convergence of embedded systems, network connectivity, real time monitoring and remote control, and automation. This paper proposes building solutions upon IoT which provides a common architectural ground for test cell operations and management. Better consistency, compatibility, interoperability, and scalability can be achieved.
