5G RedCap Device and its Low-Cost High Efficiency ATE Test Solution
This paper explores the key differences between 5G baseline devices and 5G RedCap (Reduced Capability) devices. While 5G base line targets high-performance applications with high data rates, low latency, 5G RedCap focuses on power efficiency, reduced complexity, and moderate data rates, making it suitable for applications that don’t require the full capabilities of 5G baseline. Additionally, we demonstrate a low-cost, high-efficiency test solution for production testing on the V93000 platform, making it suitable for large-scale manufacturing of 5G RedCap devices.
