Implementation Of A Cost-Effective Smart Grid Based On A Web Of Things To Access Multiple Energy Sources Remotely
The growing world energy demand coupled with the constraint of fossil fuels requires a transition towards renewable energy sources. Wind and solar-based hybrid renewable energy systems have demonstrated efficiency in energy generation but are plagued by energy wastage. To overcome this challenge, this paper suggests a dual-energy generation system for integrated grids to improve energy efficiency and dependability. Load data from Rajasthan, India, have been investigated to create an optimized grid design on the basis of net present cost and unit cost of energy. PV tilt angle optimization, utilization of wind energy, and inverter efficiency are taken into account for stability of the system. Sensitivity analysis assesses the economic effect of variations in capital cost. A comparative analysis for Barwani, India, determines the PV–Wind–Battery–DG hybrid system to be the most economically viable and eco-friendly option. The suggested system brings innovations that make it more economically feasible, promoting consumer acceptance.
