A novel adaptive beamforming method based on the adjacent point difference matching
The performance of adaptive beamforming method is influenced by the low signal-to-noise ratio and short sampling points condition. In this paper, a robust adaptive beamforming method based on the adjacent point difference matching is proposed. Using the desired signal characteristics is not a mutation at the adjacent point, as well the correlation between the signals of the adjacent sampling points should be the biggest feature. The adjacent point difference signal matching power is obtained to find the diagonal loading factor corresponding to the maximum power, and determine the weight vector of the beam, which is the purpose of extracting the desired target signal, inhibiting the interference and noise. This method requires no user parameters, it owns strong robustness and high estimation accuracy. Finally, the simulation results which are based on the uniform linear array show that the method is able to effectively obtain the desired target signal and restrain the interference signal, and still have wonderful beamformation performance.
