Joint Optimization Algorithm for Position Adjustment and Sub-band Allocation of UAV-BSs Based on Clustering and Graph Coloring
The deployment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) as aerial base stations capitalizes on their inherent advantages of low deployment costs and high operational flexibility, thereby addressing diverse networking communication requirements in various emergency situations. Within the scenario of UAV base station (UAV-BS) communication networks, optimal UAV-BSs distribution and sub-band allocation can fully exploit the flexibility of UAV-BSs while mitigating dynamic strong interference, significantly improving network coverage and service performance. This study decouples the problems of UAV-BS position optimization and sub-band allocation, introducing an algorithm based on user clustering and graph coloring problem for position adjustment and sub-band allocation. The objective is to improve both the extent of user coverage and the average user transmission rates. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves extensive and uniform user coverage while effectively enhancing the average user transmission rate.
