Critical design of a satellite GCS software architecture supporting multi-site collaboration and task automation

As satellites evolve towards large-scale low Earth orbit constellations and multifunctional geostationary satellites, satellite control technology and service systems are continuously updated, making traditional business management models inadequate to meet new demands. To meet the development goals of modern control systems, such as massive satellite tracking and automated management of routine operations, this paper proposes a ground control management system software architecture based on modularization, automation, and intelligent design, supporting flexible deployment across multiple sites, and designs key mechanisms for multi-site collaborative tracking, automated strategy calculation, and task execution. The article introduces the implementation methods of key business mechanisms based on a distributed framework and provides application cases for comprehensive demonstration. Based on this framework and key mechanisms, it can fully utilize the hardware resources of the control and measurement station network, improve the efficiency of control and measurement services, enhance the level of business automation, and simultaneously support various control and measurement management task requirements for large-scale constellations and multifunctional satellites.
