Effective Energy-Selection Method for Heterogeneous WSN with Differential Power Sources Dependent on Node Energy

Advances in wireless communication technologies are constantly being made in many different fields, opening up new and better possibilities for general business systems. Large-scale deployments of tiny, light-weight wireless nodes are called wireless sensor networks (WSNs), and they are used to monitor systems or the surrounding environment. These sensor nodes must be better able to tackle increasingly complex tasks due to WSNs technology's increased compute capability. Wireless sensor networks, or WSNs, are a quickly emerging technology with a broad range of application services. A few of these services are provided to the academic sector, weather monitoring, traffic forecasting, surveillance, and research. Improving security metrics is the most exciting issue facing communication wireless networks today, since sensor nodes are dispersed randomly in wireless environments.SEP is an enhanced approach to LEACH in heterogeneous WSN that enhances life cycle. Therefore, because of the unequal energy consumption by the cluster heads and the nodes, the lifetime would be shortened. Reduce the energy usage of the cluster's nodes on the one hand by using intermediary nodes for indirect transmission. However, in order to lower the energy usage of cluster heads, include node energy in the CHE process. SEP is a heterogeneous-aware protocol that was created to increase the stability period—the amount of time that passes before the first node dies. Due to the requirement for consistent output from the sensor network, this characteristic is crucial for many applications. Based on the remaining energy in each node, the SEP determines the likelihood of each node becoming the cluster leader. After then, these probabilities are weighted. The results depicts that enhanced ESEP protocol is effective in balancing energy usage to increase the lifespan of the system when compared to the LEACH protocol, SEP protocol, enhanced Efficient-SEP protocol, and the MATLAB-proposed algorithm. Using advanced efficient SEP protocol with Cluster Head Election Method, the no of alive nodes are better than improved SEP protocol, the number of nodes are less than improved SEP protocol, and the consumption of energy of nodes is lower than improved SEP protocol.
