Smart IoT based Monitoring System for Autism Patients

There have been different wireless technologies, and several recent trends have produced patient tracking systems to monitor the patient’s performance. Along with performance tracking, patient movement tracking is also necessary as it concerns safety measures. In such cases, tracking helps caretakers know the whereabouts of patients. The main aim of this proposed scheme is to keep track of the patients, and if any unusual activity is detected, caretakers are immediately informed through an alarm. Additionally, a panic switch is integrated into the system, allowing patients to send an emergency alert to their caretakers with a single press in case of distress. With this project, caretakers can easily determine their patient’s location within the perimeter. The whole project consists of two units: the first is the school unit, where a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) device is worn like a watch, and the second is the bus unit, where a mobile module with an app is placed. With the help of an Android application, all patient details are sent to their caretakers in real time.
