Material Comparative Study of a CrescentShaped Circularly Polarized Patch Antenna for Early Detection of Kidney Cancer
Early diagnosis of kidney cancer helps to tailor the treatment planning and provides the patient’s prognosis. In order to diagnose cancer at an early stage, a Crescent-shaped flexible patch antenna is proposed. This paper details the design of a Novel Crescent-shaped flexible patch antenna of dimensions 56x72 mm2, fabricated on polyimide with a dielectric constant of 3.4 operated at 2.4GHz. Conductive materials like Silver, Aluminium, and Copper are used to fabricate three different antennas to obtain and study the maximum gain, shift in frequency, and return loss. By examining the noticeable change in the reflection coefficient and the shift in resonance frequency the proposed model can be used detect the presence of tumor in the kidney. The proposed antenna was precisely tested, using both simulation techniques and network analyzer.
