MANAGING THE PROCESS OF TRAINING CUSTOMS SPECIALISTS BASED ON A COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of managing the process of professional training of customs specialists in higher education on the basis of a competence-based approach. The aim is to develop and substantiate an educational process management model aimed at developing the necessary set of professional and universal competencies for future customs officers. The tasks include: analyzing the essence and structure of the competencies of a customs specialist, identifying the specifics of implementing a competence-based approach in this area, identifying key components of the training management system and developing mechanisms for their interaction. The results obtained are presented in the form of a structural and functional management model that includes targeted, substantive, organizational, technological, and evaluative-corrective blocks. It is shown that effective management involves close cooperation of the university with customs authorities and business, the use of practice-oriented educational technologies and the creation of a system for monitoring and evaluating the formation of competencies. The scientific novelty lies in the development of a comprehensive management model for customs training based on a competence-based approach that takes into account the specifics of their future professional activities.
