Employers' requirements for employees in the information and documentation industry
The article examines the requirements of employers for employees of the information and documentation industry in the labor market. A comparative analysis of the qualification requirements set forth in regulatory documents and the requirements set forth by modern employers in the labor market is carried out. Attention is focused on the contradiction that is manifested, on the one hand, in the demand on the labor market for specialists in the information and documentation industry, and on the other hand, in the rather high requirements of employers for the above-mentioned employees. This actualizes the problem of training qualified personnel in the information and documentation industry, capable of effectively solving professional tasks in the modern information society, and requires constant updating of the system of training specialists in higher education institutions. It is noted that the competitiveness of employees of the information and documentation industry is determined not only by the level of professional competencies, but also by the requirements set forth by employers for personal qualities (organization, sociability, politeness, stress resistance, ability to work in a team, accuracy and attention to detail).
